Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your chauffeur guide and transferred to Negombo for your first night. If time permits, enjoy the charming fishing town with visits to the local fish market and Dutch Canal. The next morning, head towards Chilaw to visit the Munneswaram Temple, where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva, and then proceed to the Mannavari Temple, believed to be the first lingam installed by Rama. En route to Kandy, stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness elephants up close. The journey continues with a visit to the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, located beside the stream where Sita is believed to have bathed, and Divurumpola, the site of her famed fire trial. Day 1 :Negambo
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from SAYLANKA, who will also be your guide for the Ramayana Tour. Your first stop will be the charming coastal town of Negombo, where you will spend your first night. If time allows, you can explore Negombo, including its vibrant fish market and the picturesque Dutch Canal.
Day 2 :Kandy / Pinnawala
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on a 90-minute drive to Chilaw to visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple, where Lord Rama sought solace and blessings from God Shiva.
